site.
Keywords
Words that a search engine looks at to match against the requests
of a user.
Keyword Rich Front
Search engines also look at the keywords to see if they can be
found on the text portion of a website's front page. Unlike the
hidden keywords and description, these can be seen on the index
page by the human user.
Alt Text
This is a description of the images that the search engine's spider
can read. A spider is a small program used by search engines.
The Alt text is also useful for the human user if for any reason
the images fail to load, the Alt text would explain which picture
is missing.
Text Links
Known as text navigation, this is an important item to both the
search engine and human viewer. Proper text links help to draw
the viewer into and through the website.
